THE CAMEMBERT Quartet are among the many and diverse acts who will be providing musical entertainment at Monroe’s Live during Race Week.
Tonight will see the Cunningham family continue their residency at the venue with their acclaimed Fuaim Chonamara show of sean nós dancing from 9pm. Later that night The Camembert Quartet, best known as The Late Late Show house band, and led by Galwayman Clint Velour, will take to the stage.
Soul singer Buck Taylor and his band will present their tribute to James Brown show tomorrow night. Expect to hear the classic songs of the Godfather of Soul performed by a man who has worked with Booker T & The MG’s, Patti Labelle, Martha Reeves, Jimmy Buffet, and Dr John.
Saturday sees the return of covers band Electric Lemon and Sunday night will close with a gig by Galway group Raindance.
