Enda Walsh’s Disco Pigs at Town Hall studio

PIG AND Runt are two 17-year-olds who share everything - birthdays, language, and a desire for destruction as they explode onto the disco scene of ‘Pork’ city.

This is Disco Pigs, written by Enda Walsh, author of The New Electric Ballroom, The Walworth Face, and Penelope. A fast paced, physical show, it is designed to perturb as much as entertain.

Disco Pigs will be performed by Fregoli theatre company in the Town Hall Theatre studio from Tuesday August 3 to Saturday 7 at 7.30pm. The production features Maria Tivnan (Runt ) and Shane McDermott (Pig ). It is directed by Rob McFeely.

This summer Fregoli will also perform a new show entitled The Gingerbread House, a dark spin on Hansel and Gretel at the Nuns Island Studio from August 17 to 21 before taking it to the Tuam Arts Festival.

Tickets are €10/8 and available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie See also www.fregolitheatre.com
