The Galway senior ladies football team will face Sligo in the Connacht senior final at 3.30pm in Tubbercurry this Sunday.
It is six weeks since their semi final clash against Leitrim, so the Tribeswomen will be very keen to get back into championship action this weekend.
Galway have quite a number of injuries with goalkeeper Joanna Connolly unavailable and she is joined on the injured list by Sarah Noone (ankle ), Aine Gilmore (broken finger ), Marie O'Connell (back ), and dual star Dora Gorman (ankle ).
On the positive side, Becky Walsh has returned to the squad, while Maria Hoey and Caitriona Cormican will rejoin the panel after Sunday's clash.
Galway will be favourites for Sunday’s game and should be capable of producing a match winning display.
