Green Party Cllr Niall Ó Brolcháin has been appointed by the Minister for Justice Brian Lenihan as a Peace Commissioner.
The position covers the county of Galway and neighbouring counties. It is an honorary position that receives no payment. Office holders are authorised to sign official documents.
