MUSICIANS FROM across Ireland will be heading to the Co Galway island of Inishbofin for The Inishbofin Concerts season.
The Inishbofin Concerts is a series of Irish traditional and contemporary music shows on Tuesdays during July and August in The Dolphin Hotel.
The next concert is with singer Eleanor Shanley on July 27. She will be accompanied by Frankie Lane (Dobro/guitar ) and Paul Kelly (fiddle ). Singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey plays on August 3, followed by Mick Hanley and Arty McGlynn on Tuesday August 10.
Inishbofin natives Dessie O’Halloran and Geraldine King take to the stage on August 17. They will be accompanied by Oliver Deveney (accordion ) and Nollaig Casey (fiddle ). The concerts conclude with singer-songwriter Mundy on August 24.
Concerts start at 9.30pm and tickets can be purchased at the door. Tickets are €15/8.
