Gardaí have said they are not treating as suspicious the death of a Newcastle man whose body was found in the Claddagh Basin on Monday.
Joseph Rafferty (66 ) of Tudor Lawn in Newcastle was reported missing on Sunday and gardaí launched a search for the man around the city. Mr Rafferty’s body was spotted in the Claddagh Basin by a passer-by at around 10.30am on Monday.
