WIGGLE, THE Cork electro dub wizards, return to Galway tomorrow to play Cuba*Live at 11pm.
The band began in 1999 after a jam session in a small sushi restaurant in Cork. Wiggle can be seen performing at many underground festivals, parties, and gatherings from the hills of west Cork, to the mountains of Kerry, to a field in Roscommon or a beach in Mayo.
Wiggle gigs are like entering an ever evolving sonic landscape, their songs segue and flow into one another. It’s an electronic rhythm riot, part entrancing mash-up, part swirling voyage that makes their every gig an extraordinary event not to be missed.
Wiggle are currently recording their second album due for release spring 2011. The band are also confirmed for Electric Picnic and will be doing at least two gigs.
Support on the night is from DJs Ras Tinny (reggae ) and Alien Angel (psytrance ). The venue will be fully decorated with fluorescence and additional 3D forms by Infinite Phenomena, Visuals by VJ Present, and powered by Funktion One.
Tickets are €8 before 11pm and €10 thereafter.
