Labour Party to hold 2011 conference in Galway

The Labour Party will hold its 2011 Annual Conference in Galway, an event which has the potential to be a major boost for Galway hotels and the local economy in general.

The conference is expected to attract up to 1,500 delegates, press, international guests, representatives of embassies, as well as interested members of the public.

The decision to hold the conference in Galway was taken at the party’s National Executive meeting on Saturday July 10 in Dublin. Labour also held its 2010 party conference in Galway.
