Councillors to discuss Salmon Weir Bridge at next Monday’s meeting

At Monday’s Galway City Council meeting, councillors will hear a presentation on the Corrib River Crossing Feasibility Study for works on the Salmon Weir Bridge.

Councillors will also be asked to nominate three members to put forward to the Nominations Committee of Fáilte Ireland. Fáilte Ireland will then select one member for election to the Western Region Tourism Development Board.

Also on the agenda for discussion are the Regional Homeless Action Plan; the Non-Motorised Passenger Transporter Byelaws 2010; the Land Aggregation Scheme; and the Mid Year Financial Report on Council’s Revenue Budget 2010.

Councillors will also have to vote on whether or not to approve of disposing lands held by the council at Ballinfoile, Headford Road, to John Francis, the executor in the estate of the late Patrick Francis.
