POETS FEATURED in the new book, Identity Parade: New British & Irish Poets, will read at Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Middle Street, tomorrow at 6pm.
This event is the Galway Launch of Identity Parade, which is edited by Roddy Lumsden and published by Bloodaxe Books.
There will be readings by six of the contributing poets - Julia Bird, Judy Brown, Sarah Corbett, Sasha Dugdale, Kevin Higgins, and Mark Waldron. Roddy Lumsden will be speaking at the event.
Identity Parade features work by 85 new British and Irish poets to have emerged since the mid-1990s. Each poet is introduced by a biographical note which also covers their themes and concerns.
All are welcome to the reading.
