Well this is the opportunity for you.
The Galway Advertiser has joined forces with Galway FujiCentre, Shop Street, to bring you this unique competition.
The theme is Your Galway and the photo must have been taken in the week of your entry. It must reflect topical Galway and with the summer upon us, there is ample opportunity for budding snappers to get out there and show what they can do.
If you are the weekly winner, you get your photo published in the Galway Advertiser.
In addition your photo will be displayed in large in the front window of the Galway Fuji Centre (you get to keep this enlargement ) and you get a ™50 voucher to be swapped against any items or service in the Galway Fuji centre.
To enter: Entrants must drop their print into the Galway Fuji Centre and print the entry as a 6"X8" print. Put your details on the back of the print, marking it the Your Galway competition.
Each week, a panel of judges will determine which is the best print and this will be published in the Galway Advertiser and placed online at www.advertiser.ie and on the official Galway Advertiser Facebook page.
So get your cameras out and start snapping. The competition officially opens today Thursday June 17, so take your pictures to the Fuji Centre for printing and get entering. The first photo will appear in next week's Galway Advertiser. Good luck.
