The Westwood Hotel in Newcastle hosted recently an evening’s celebration to mark the jubilee of the ordination and the retirement of Monsignor O’Flaherty, parish priest of Galway Cathedral.
A crowd in excess of 300 people attended the celebrations held in the hotel’s Richard Martin suite.
The monsignor was delighted to greet and speak with all the well-wishers, giving a heartfelt speech following a small presentation from the parish.
