Dignity's Got Talent

Galway’s newest gay venue, Dignity bar, will launch talent competition Dignity’s Got Talent next month.

All Ireland Talent Show finalist and former Alternative Miss Ireland Joanna Ryde will host the event, which takes place on Thursday July 8.

Dignity Waterford has seen some of the southeast’s most talented acts gracing its stage and organisers believe that Galway will be just as promising. The organisers are inviting people who believe they could be the next Susan Boyle or Mulkerrin brothers, or Ireland’s next top drag queen, or who have a unique talent to showcase, to take part. Application forms can be downloaded from Dignity’s Facebook page and emailed to [email protected]

The winner of Dignity’s Got Talent, which is sponsored by Absolut Vodka, will receive €1,000 and a monthly paid gig in Dignity. Second prize is a €500 holiday voucher, and third prize is €100 cash.
