Black Apalachi to feature at Galway County Show

The highly popular Galway County Show takes place this weekend in the grounds of the Brothers of Charity in Kilcornan, Clarenbridge

Sponsored this year by Supermac’s, the Galway County Show is one of the largest of its kind in Ireland and immensely popular with both locals and those from further afield.

Starting both days at 9.30am, the show promises fun for all the family with showjumping for horses and ponies, dog shows, pony club games, trade stands, amusements, bouncing castles, miniature ponies, Connemara ponies, cattle, sheep, and lots more.

Galway Bay FM will be broadcasting live from the show on Sunday, while this year’s Aintree Grand National runner-up, the Galway owned Black Apalachi, will make an appearance at 1.30pm. The Supermac’s Grand Prix kicks off after the parade at 2pm.

Entry fee to the show is €10 per adult with children free.
