SCOTTISH FOLK and trad group The Bully Wee Band play The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Wednesday at 9pm as part of The Stirling-Galway Sessions 2010.
The Bully Wee Band were formed in the early 1970s by brothers Jim and John Yardley. They released a number of albums of Scottish traditional music and successfully toured Britain, Europe, and America before calling it a day in 1983.
The band re-formed in 2004 following a chance meeting of former members Ian Cutler, Fergus Feely, and Colin Reece at Faversham Folk Club in Kent. This led to a spirited jam session after which they decided to re-form the band, also convincing Jim Yardley to join in.
