Gardaí have appealed for information following an incident in which two boats were damaged earlier this week.
The boats, which were in the boat yard beside the Commercial Boat Club in Woodquay, were set on fire on Monday night. The fire was discovered at 11.45pm.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who noticed suspicious activity in the area, to contact Garda Hugh Rodgers at Galway Garda station, phone (091 ) 538000.
