Galway’s leading independent chic boutiques will take to the catwalk for the Halo charity show The Wow Factor on Thursday October 16 to raise funds for the Galway Hospice.
The show brings together nine of Galway’s leading boutiques and at the end of the night top Tipperary designer Marion Murphy-Cooney will showcase her stunning evening wear, specifically designed for the Halo show.
The show will feature MC Sybil Mulcahy from TV3’s Xpose as well as a best dressed competition which is being sponsored by Galway Now.
“It is very fulfiling to work on this event for all of the team here. This fashion show is in aid of a very worthy cause and we are delighted how its success builds year on year,” said Paula Feeney, marketing manager at Halo.
“The response and support we receive from the local community is fantastic. Our regular customers are loyal fans of the event, and it’s also great to see people who have never been in the venue before come along to support the charity on the night, and to receive their reactions to the high standards of the show.”
On the night Mandy Maher and the Catwalk Model agency www.catwalkmodels.ie will present fashions from Colette Latchford, Elegant Undies, Kiss Boutique, Madison, Rococo, Select, Squisito, Sugar Pink and the Galway Hat shop, along with Marion Murphy-Cooney’s designs. The models’ hair will be done by Bellissimo, with models’ make-up provided for the night by Rachel O’Donnell and Audrey Byron.
