Pricing announced for new Mini Countryman

Mini Ireland has just announced the pricing and engine variants for the eagerly-anticipated new Mini Countryman.

Prices start from €23,800 ex-works for the entry-level Mini One Countryman, and Mini says it comes with a high standard specification.

The Countryman will be launched to the Irish market in September. It will be Mini’s largest model, and the first Mini with four doors, but it will also offer Mini’s four-wheel-drive system ‘ALL4’ for the first time.

The Mini Countryman range will be the fourth member of the Mini family following the hatch, convertible and clubman.

As a genuine crossover, the Mini Countryman bridges the gap between the classic concept of the Mini and a modern sports activity vehicle. Boasting enhanced opportunities in urban mobility and beyond, Mini says the Countryman offers that unique driving pleasure so typical of Mini to new target groups requiring extra space and flexibility.

As the first model in the Mini range with four doors and a wide-opening rear lid, it provides even greater freedom of space for versatile use, a slightly elevated seating position, and optimised driving comfort.

In a nutshell, therefore, the Mini Countryman offers all the characteristic features of the brand in terms of design, premium quality, handling, efficiency and customisation in a new, fascinating style.

“We expect the Countryman to appeal to everyone who loves the Mini brand, but wants extra space in his/her car,” says Nicola Bissett, brand manager of Mini Ireland. “Countryman takes the Mini story to an entire new level. With the extensive amount of extra space and ALL4, Mini breaks new ground in the brand’s 51 year heritage.”
