Leading PR guru to give communications masterclass in the city

One of Ireland’s leading PR Professionals, Jack Murray, will host a special communications masterclass in the Radisson hotel Galway on May 27.

Mr Murray, originally from Ballinasloe, has worked as a communications advisor to some of Ireland’s leading business people and public figures including Sean Gallagher of Dragon’s Den fame, Gerry McCaughey, founder of Century Homes, Minister for Health Mary Harney, and construction industry boss Tom Parlon.

“In the current climate people want to know how to get free media coverage using traditional and new media to help boost sales and profits,” said Mr Murray.

“I will be revealing the secrets of great public relations and how to use effective communications to grow your business. I will also use case studies to highlight how new ideas and creativity are essential to the success with the media,” added Murray.

Mr Murray is originally from River Street in Ballinasloe and is a son of Joe and Noreen Murray, who run a general merchants and farm supply business in the town.

He is a former pupil of St Joseph’s College, Garbally, and has a degree in marketing from the University of Limerick and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
