Swing back to a golden era of song

COOL DUDES and glamorous dames will be taking to the stage of the Town Hall to perform the great songs of Frank Sinatra, Nat ‘King’ Cole and Bing Crosby, in Strictly Swing.

Theatre Productions bring Strictly Swing to the Town Hall Theatre on Wednesday May 12 at 8pm. The show is set in a smoky New York bar and is an upbeat celebration of swing and the era of the crooner.

West End singers, Paul Roberts (formerly of The Stranglers ), who will play the part of Frank sinatra; Chris Vincent (as Bing Crosby ); and Jim Whitley (as Nat ‘King’ Cole ), will perform songs like ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ‘Jeepers Creepers’, ‘Chicago’, ‘My Way’, ‘Me and My Shadow’, and ‘Road to Morocco’.

They will be supported by the Jazz Belles, of whom the Evening Telegraph said: “If you thought Bond Girls were good, these girls are licensed to thrill.”
