GMIT public seminar on drinking water quality

Engineers, scientists, and water quality experts will address a public seminar in the GMIT on Thursday May 6, starting at 7pm, on the quality of Galway’s drinking water.

The seminar will be addressed by Paddy Kavanagh of ESB International; Gerry Galvin, principal advisor to the Department of the Environment; Rory Mannion, public analyst at the HSE; and John McMyler, senior engineer, Galway County Council.

The seminar will be chaired by Liam Gavin, senior executive engineer, Galway County Council; and Sean O’Muircheartaigh, former lecturer in chemistry, GMIT, and a member of the Water Technology Group.

The meeting takes place in Room 162, new building, Dublin Road campus. Admission is free and all are welcome. For more information email [email protected]
