Planning permission is being sought from the Galway County Council for the redesign and construction of the Keelderry Windfarm in Keelderry, Peterswell, Co Galway.
Permission is sought for 16 wind turbines of up to 85m hub height and up to 100m rotor diameter with a total height of 135m; a permanent meteorological mast of 85m height; and a substation and associated equipment.
Permission is also sought for excavation pits, new internal site tracks; upgrading of the existing internal site tracks, expanding the drainage system; turbine handstands; a waste water holding tank; underground cables; and ancillary works on a site measuring 3.1km by 1.4km.
