Galway Community Circus has announced a fundraising event to be held in The Bank of Ireland Theatre in NUIG.
The evening will feature a variety of entertaining circus acts, juggling and acrobatics performed by local artists and Galway Community Circus members. Refreshments will be available, and a raffle will be held. All proceeds from the evening will go towards the running of the Galway Community Circus’ weekly classes. The show starts at 7pm and will be a fun filled evening for everyone involved.
The Galway Community Circus is a group of talented young performers which began to meet in 2002 to practise circus skills and develop teaching techniques and which has been running workshops with various community groups around Galway city and county since 2004. They now offer weekly classes in a range of circus skills for young people from eight years of age and adults.
Tickets for the Circus Cabaret are available on the door or from the Galway Community Circus, €5 per child, €8 per adult, or €15 per family.
