THE APPLE, a new play by Jimmy Brunelle and directed by Zita Monahan, will be staged in the BOI Theatre, NUI Galway, this Saturday and Sunday at 8pm.
The Apple tells the story of the janitor of a prestigious art museum who hopes one day to become the greatest artist in the world and somehow manages to do so... by accident.
The play is presented by Youth Work Ireland Galway and the Cape Project. It stars members of The Gaf Drama Group, Francis Street: Stella Yomba, Nathan Furey, Áine Kilbane, Dorothea Mair, Clare McLoughlan, Milly Burke-Cunningham, and Laura Vaselivskaya. The group meets once a week and is always open to new members.
