Julian Gough, the author, poet, and former singer with Toasted Heretic, will launch the latest edition of ROPES on Thursday April 22 in the Skeff Bar at 7pm.
ROPES (Review of Postgraduate English Studies ) is published by the students of NUI, Galway’s masters in literature and publishing class each year. The launch event is part of this year’s Cúirt International Festival of Literature.
Contributors to this year’s edition include Kevin Higgins, Susan Millar DuMars, Rita Ann Higgins, Stephan Murray, and Martin Dyar. All proceeds from the sale of the journal will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Galway Hospital Project.
