Special baby information event at The Ardilaun

A local hotel and parents’ website have joined forces to organise a special information event for parents and parents to be.

The Ardilaun and Mykidstime.ie will host “Bump & Beyond” at the facility on Sunday May 9 from 2pm to 6pm.

People can learn about the latest baby products, meet other parents-to-be and find out more about looking after their precious bundle.

“Parents will be free to chat with different service providers and organisations and there will be talks and demos from a variety of expert speakers, including Therese Ryan,” say the organisers. “She is one of Ireland’s leading stress management and wellbeing experts and also featured on RTE’s health show How long will you live? over the past two years.

“Other demonstrations and talks on the day include baby massage with Mary Kenny of Eden Baby Massage and Swim. Mary has completed extensive post graduate courses in pregnancy massage and aromatherapy for pregnancy and babies. Also Mary Joyce, a nurse with the HSE, will be there on the day. Her focus is on “Health from within”. She recently appeared along with Maureen Fynes on RTE’s Dragon’s Den in connection with their Feel Good Food Superfood Energy Snack.”

Maria Kelly, sales and marketing manager of The Ardilaun, says it is delighted to be partnering with Mykidstime.ie to bring a new type of event to the west.

“The Bump & Beyond Expo gives expecting and new parents the chance to meet up, find out about the latest products and hopefully pick up some useful tips from our experts.”
