Pádraig O’Céidigh lends support to Fahey’s bypass campaign

Aer Arann’s Pádraig O’Céidigh and Treasure Chest owner Mary Bennett will feature in video supporting Frank Fahey’s Galway Bypass campaign.

Also lending his support will be the president of the Galway Chamber of Commerce Paul Shelly. All feature in a video that has been distributed today by email as part of Galway West TD Frank Fahey’s campaign for the development of the Galway City Outer Bypass.

The video features interviews with Mr O’Céidigh, Mr Shelly, Ms Bennett, and Dep Fahey explaining why they are ‘Backing the Bypass’ for Galway city.

“Galway is the only city in Ireland without a bypass,” said Dep Fahey. “As a result, the city is congested and journey times are long, business investors and tourists are less likely to come, and there are fewer jobs.”

The video and full details of Deputy Fahey’s campaign can be viewed at www.fiannafail.ie/galwaybypasscampaign
