GALWAY ARTIST Jennifer Cunningham, one of the city’s most talented young artists, is holding a series of art classes at her new art school in Newcastle.
Places are still available in the four week Monday evening course which starts on April 12 and runs from 7pm to 9.30pm. The classes are designed to enable participants gain as much insight into his/her practice as possible, be they a complete beginner or third level student.
Jennifer is a professional artist, printmaker, and member of the Blackchurch studio. She graduated with a first class honours degree from GMIT in 2002. She has recently completed a master’s in fine art from NCAD in Dublin. She has won several awards for her work including the Henry Higgins Traveling Scholarship and the Taylor art award.
