Top tie for Galway ladies

The JFC Galway ladies senior football team mee8t Monaghan away in their last game in the league on Sunday.

Both teams are unbeaten, but a win for Galway, now safely through to the semi-final, would ensure they top this year’s Bord Gais Energy NFL division one.

Galway have produced a superb campaign to date. Battling qualities have seen them earn valuable results to maintain their lead at the top. However, Monaghan, with a game in hand, are a quality outfit, and they will have ambitions to overtake Galway on the leaderboard.

At u-14 level, Galway won their first league game against Sligo last Saturday in Kilkerrin/Clonberne and now travel to Ballindine to take on County Mayo.
