Dogathon 2010, COPE Galway’s fundraising fun walk for people and their pets on the Prom in Salthill, will take place on Sunday April 18 at 12 noon.
Each dog who enters will receive a Petworld ‘Doggie Bag’ and his/her owner will receive a free COPE Galway T-shirt on the day. COPE is also setting up a Dogathon 2010 Village. The village will have activities, games, demonstrations, and information on pet care, health and training.
Registration for Dogathon 2010 is free, each dog and its owner is asked to raise funds for COPE Galway through getting sponsorship from friends and family. Funds raised will go towards COPE’s work for homeless people, women and children who experience domestic violence, and older people in Galway.
