THE SPIRIT Of Pink Floyd Show, a major celebration of the music of the legendary British band, is coming to the Black Box Theatre on Friday April 9 at 8pm.
The two hour concert will feature songs from Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall, as well as songs from the Syd Barrett era, and rarities. There will be accompanying visuals and light show.
The music will be performed by The Spirit of Pink Floyd, a nine piece act which features six former members of Floyd tribute band Off the Wall.
“Our aim is to put on a high quality, visually interactive show because that’s what the music of Pink Floyd has always been about,” says band guitarist and vocalist Stella Fairhead. “Rather than simply play the songs note for note, we will interpret the tunes in our own way, as well as including stunning light shows.”
The band members have a wealth of experience and individually have worked with Gabrielle, M People, the Sugababes, All Saints, Gary Barlow, the Sneaker Pimps, Faithless, Finley Quay, and the Mighty Wah.
