German film White Ribbon, directed by Michael Haneke, will be screened by the Galway Film Society this Sunday at 8.15pm. In a small farming village in Germany on the eve of the Great War there is a murder and a kidnapping, yet the community will not admit what’s going on. White Ribbon won the Palm D’Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. For tickets contact 091 - 569777.
