Polish film Katyn will be screened in Seanscoil Sailearna, Indreabhán tonight. The film is based on a horrific incident in 1940, when Stalin ordered thousands of Polish army officers to be murdered by Soviet troops. The massacre was discovered by the Germans, but the Soviets denied they carried it out. Katyn looks at this horrific incident, through the eyes of a Polish general’s wife.
