What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Sitting down with a nice pint of Guinness in Campbell’s Tavern watching Ryan Adams play the whole of Heartbreaker acoustically.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

John Lennon.

Which living person do you most admire?

David Clancy - what a legend!

Which is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I can be a bit negative sometimes so I wish I could be a bit more positive!

What is your greatest extravagance?

I bought a vintage Gibson acoustic guitar just before Christmas while in London. Completely unnecessary purchase, but so worth it!

What is your favourite journey?

The journey home.

On what occasion do you lie?

When it gets me out of trouble : )

Which living person do you most despise?

I wouldn’t say I really despise anyone.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My guitar - I couldn’t live without it!

When and where were you happiest?

I’m pretty happy right now to be honest.

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to rub my tummy in a circle while tapping my head.

What is your current state of mind?

Hopeful and anxious at the same time!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Probably making the album and releasing it independently.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

A mix tape.

What is your most treasured possession?

I’d have to say my guitar again!

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Being at a Dave Matthews Band concert and not being allowed to leave.

What is your favourite occupation?

I worked in XtraVision while I was in college. That was by favourite job. I would love to be a full-time musician so that’s the dream job I guess.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

That he gets the first round of pints in!

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

That she gets the first round of pints in!

Philip Pullman and Conor Oberst

What is your motto?

Be happy!
