Get cooking Spanish style — no experience necessary

Hailed as the most authentic Spanish restaurant in Ireland and having the best tapas in Ireland by top food critics, Cava Spanish Restaurant is offering you the rare chance to learn how to bring some Spanish flavour to your table.

Cooking At Cava is open to individuals and couples and can be tailored to suit your needs and abilities. The classes include breads, desserts, simple and tasty tapas, as well as a fun introduction to Spanish cooking while also learning how to use seasonal Irish produce in your Spanish culinary masterpieces.

The cooking classes can be booked in advance and generally run from 9am to 1pm midweek. With a maximum of two people in each class, your teacher for the day is restaurant owner and head chef JP McMahon.

After your half day in the kitchen relax with lunch served in the restaurant by the professionals. A recipe booklet with a brief history of Spanish cooking and Cava Restaurant will also be yours to take home.

Cost for this unique experience is €95 per person which includes lunch and recipe booklet (€60 for class only ), and €150 for couples.

A tapas feast made for sharing

To celebrate the annual Seville Tapas Fair held in Seville every year in February, renowned Spanish restaurant Cava has launched a very special Seville tapas fiesta menu.

The exciting menu offers groups of eight or more the chance to taste and to share various tapas from different regions throughout Spain including eight exciting meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, such as sweet potato and Spanish goat’s cheese croquettes, chorizo with sherry, prawns in lemon and garlic, plus dessert and a delicious glass of specially chosen Spanish wine.

The menu is priced at a very reasonable €25 per person based on eight people or more. Booking is essential.
