NUI Galway first years face a tough challenge tomorrow (Friday ) when they take on UCD freshers in the quarter-final of the Harding Cup.
This annual soccer tournament for first year university players will be hosted at the university grounds at Dangan at 2.30.
If College can overcome the Dublin students, they will face the winners of the UUJ/UCC clash at Drom, Salthill Devon’s ground, on Saturday (2.30pm ). In the other side of the draw the preliminary round winners (Maynooth, Trinity, DCU or UUC ) will face UL or Mary I. The cup final will take place in Terryland Park on Sunday at 2.30pm, while the Plate final takes place at Dangan (11.30am ).
