Fiat announces new finance offers

Fiat, in conjunction with Permanent TSB, has announced details of its new finance offer which requires zero deposit on all key Fiat models that are purchased under the Government Scrappage Scheme.

Fiat is now offering an “eco-plus bonus” access to finance at competitive rates for anyone wishing to buy a new ecological car in 2010. When added to the €1,500 available from the Government for motorists who scrap their old cars in exchange for new ones, it means there has never been a better time to buy a new Fiat car.

The Fiat Panda can be purchased for €6,995 (€139 per month ), the Fiat 500 is available from €9995 (€199 per month ), the Fiat Grande Punto five-door is also €9,995, and the Fiat Bravo 1.6 multi-jet diesel Eco is €14,995 (€299 per month ). All of the above cars are in the lowest tax band at €104 per annum.

Fiat’s eco-plus bonus is available to all customers on any make, any model, any year.

Fiat Ireland MD Adrian Walsh says: “I am confident this unique offer will appeal to anyone who has a requirement for a new ecological car in 2010. We firmly believe in giving people the opportunity to buy safe, stylish and more eco friendly cars at affordable prices. With the Government Scrappage Scheme and Fiat’s eco-plus bonus our five-door family range starts from just €6,995, and with zero deposit required on new cars purchased under the Government scheme, we are offering low cost motoring and access to credit at very competitive rates.”

These offers are made under a hire purchase agreement as defined by the Consumer Credit Act 1995. To its credit, Fiat highlights that this means customers will not own a car under such an agreement until the final payment is made.
