Calling all Ardilaun brides and grooms – past, present and future

The team at The Ardilaun hotel is next week welcoming all brides and grooms who had their wedding reception at The Ardilaun from 1962 to the present day to a wedding day celebration banquet dinner to once again celebrate their special day and relive all those happy memories.

It is also welcoming future brides and grooms to experience how wonderful their wedding day will be, by getting a flavour of what is on offer for their special day.

The night will begin at 7.30pm on Saturday January 30 with a reunion of couples – old and new at The Ardilaun with a champagne reception and cascading chocolate fountain on arrival.

Guests will soak up the atmosphere to the sounds of live jazz by Freddy Byrne and the Guinness Jazz Band. Guests will then be seated in wedding banquet style in the Connacht Suite, there will be a short wedding blessing at the beginning of the meal and an enjoyable five course meal with all of the wedding trimmings throughout the evening including sumptuous wedding cake compliments of Goyas.

“Tickets are available at just €35 per person for anyone who would like to attend this special event. If you are an Ardilaun bride or groom or wish to join with family and friends who may have had their wedding reception at The Ardilaun over the years, or if you are planning your wedding in the future, we would love to hear from you, and for you to join in our celebrations on this fun night,” said MD JOhn Ryan, who feels that the event will honour many of the 3,000 couples who held their receptions at the hotel since 1962.

The hotel is offering special overnight accommodation for this night at just €55 per person sharing with full Irish breakfast and use of the hotel’s leisure facilities for all guests attending this special event.
