THE THIRD Forge at Gort literature festival takes place at the end of March and the organisers are appealing to the public for sponsorship.
However arts organisations throughout the country have suffered from cutbacks in funding. As a result the Western Writers’ Centre is appealing to the public to help keep this two-day festival going by sponsoring a single reading or literary event; sponsoring advertising/posters, or by sponsoring a newspaper advertisement. Alternatively you can become a Friend of the Western Writers’ Centre for €50 or €100.
In return for any element of the above you would receive free admission to any paying events at the festival or published acknowledgement of your support on all press material, including posters, advertisements, on-line announcements, and broadcast media announcements.
