A SCOTSMAN, an Irishman, and an American walked into a bar...that bar will be the Róisín Dubh when Geoff Boyz, Shane Mauss, and Keith Farnan play The Laughter Lounge next Wednesday.
Scotland’s Geoff Boyz is a brilliant comic and impressionist whose Robert de Niro impersonation has to be seen to be believed! Geoff takes everyday observations and mixes them with impersonations of well known characters.
Originally from Wisconsin, Shane Mauss caught his big break when he was awarded Best Stand Up Comic at the prestigious HBO 2007 US Comedy Arts Festival. Since then, he has appeared on Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham, the BBC’s The World Stands Up, The Boston International Comedy Festival, The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival,, and Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival.
The MC will be Keith Farnan, “Ireland’s latest Comedy Star” according to the Irish Examiner. Stephen Bennett from the NUIG Comedy Soc will be on the open spot.
Doors are at 8.30pm. Monty will be DJing afterwards. Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.
