Connacht’s game with Montpellier will go ahead tomorrow at 7pm.
According to Connacht CEO Gerry Kelly the pitch is playable at present, and the current weather is expected to continue to ensure the match proceeds as expected.
The Connacht team has been out on the pitch over the last two days for the first time since the fixture against Leinster on January 2 was postponed.
Gerry Kelly said no problems were expected for tomorrow’s fixture, although the match could be moved to Saturday in the event of a sudden deterioration in the pitch’s condition.
The Montpellier team left France yesterday for Dublin and are due to arrive in Galway this morning.
