Conradh na Gaeilge’s sean-nós dancing classes, taught by Pádraig Ó h’Oibicín, return on Monday January 18 with beginners classes at 7pm and classes for the more experienced at 9pm.
Sean nós is an ad-hoc style of solo Irish dancing. It is danced close to the floor so there is no need to perform gravity defying leaps.
The classes are bilingual so they can also be a way to improve your Irish. Club Áras na nGael will also host special sean nós dancing nights during the year when students will get a chance to perform themselves and also see other well known sean -nós dancers in action.
The classes cost €90 for 10 weeks. For more information contact Conradh Na Gaeilge, 45 Sráid Doiminic, on 091 - 567824 or e-mail [email protected]
