All hail the O’Emperor

O’EMPEROR have been hailed by Hotpress as “nothing short of genius”, Futuresounds compared them to Fleet Foxes, while Totally Dublin said they “have ticked off the right boxes to create a post-rock classic”.

Next week this highly touted Waterford band come to Galway to play Strange Brew in the Róisín Dubh on Thursday January 14 at 9pm.

The band released their debut single ‘Po’ in October and their orchestrated, multi layered, multi faceted sound has seen music critics compare them to Grizzly Bear, The Beach Boys, Radiohead, The Cure, The Band, and The Smiths.

Support on the night comes from Sons Of Noel & Adrian and Alessi’s Ark. Gugai will be DJing afterwards.
