The 2010 Galway Triathlon Club lecture series will kick off next week with a talk by club coach Ray Glynn on training programmes.
The lecture series is open to all athletes involved in the sports of swimming, cycling, running, and triathlon, and is designed to provide advice on how to train and race to the best of athletes’ ability, whether a seasoned athlete or a beginner.
Monday January 11 will see the first lecture take place at 7pm in the Radisson Hotel.
The presentation covers a wide range of subjects from setting of triathlon goals to race selection, planning, and a broad training schedule. It will also provide advice on how to structure training and the racing season. The lecture will be followed by a meet and greet session for beginners/newcomers and a question and answer session.
