Alcoholics Anonymous, Galway West will hold its 35th annual convention at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, from January 8 to 10.
As part of its public information policy it will hold two open public meetings on Friday January 8 from 8.30pm to 10pm and on Sunday 10 from 11.30am to 1pm.
AA speakers will share their experiences with the audience. There will also be a speaker from Al-Anon, the family support group.
