VINNIE KILDUFF, the Grammy award winning musician who has recorded with U2, and artist Dara McGee are joining forces this month for a special show of music, storytelling, food, and art.
An Rón Dall - The Blind Seal takes place at The Twelve hotel, Bearna, on Monday December 28 at 8.30pm. It is inspired by the folk story recorded by William Hamilton Maxwell in 1832, about the fate of a domesticated seal at the home of a local fisherman in Renvyle, Connemara.
Alongside music from Vinnie and art from Dara, there will be sets from singer-songwriter Ruth Dillon and ‘Cajun DJ’ Connor Nolan, while Darach Ó Tuairisg will tell the story of the blind seal.
Tickets are €15 and includes finger food and mulled wine. There is a special additional package available for the show, with tickets and accommodation for two, costing €140. To book contact The Twelve on 091 - 597000.
