Following its opening weekend Galway’s, newest live music venue Monroe’s Live, one of Galway’s hottest acts The Timbertramps return for another night of revelry tomorrow from 11pm.
The Timbertramps went down a storm at Monroe’s Live launch party recently, rocking the crowd alongside special guest Páraig Breathnach who opened the venue. The Monroe famly celebrated the opening night along with being 45 years in business.
Rock cover band Starman played a fantastic set on Saturday night to a large crowd, and the venue hopes to continue the trend this Saturday, with one of Limerick’s finest live acts The Lollygaggers, an eclectic five piece who never fail to deliver their unique style of indie and classic rock.
The new venue, above one of Ireland’s most famous bars, Monroe’s Tavern, has been transformed to contain three bars, two floors, and a live performance stage with top of the range sound and lighting systems.
The venue also features a literary corner and piano lounge for a chilled out, relaxed, atmosphere.
