Well-known faces and local celebrities will be out in force at Evergreen Health food store, Mainguard Street on Friday and Saturday selling copies of “Bright Beginnings” a book of photographic reflections in aid of Console.
Evergreen got involved in the project in a bid to help the local charity - which creates awareness, hope and healing for people bereaved by suicide - raise €30,000 by Christmas.
The money will be used to support and maintain Console’s work and the development of “1 Life”, the charity’s dedicated 24/7 national suicide prevention helpline.
To support the fundraiser visit Evergreen from 11am to 5pm on Friday or Saturday and pick up a copy of “Bright Beginnings” for €10.
