Conor Mark Kavanagh goes Over The Edge

RTÉ NEWS reporter Conor Mark Kavanagh will read a selection of his poetry at the December Over The Edge: Open Reading in the Galway City Library, St Augustine Street, on Thursday December 17 at 6.30pm.

Conor Mark Kavanagh is best known for his work with RTÉ news and radio but he is also a poet and songwriter. His first break into journalism was an exclusive interview with Anne Yeats, the subject of WB Yeats’ ‘Prayer For My Daughter’, on the 50th anniversary of the great poet’s death.

Also reading on the night are Gerry Galvin, a chef and former restaurateur, and the author of the bestselling cookbooks The Drimcong Food Affair and Everyday Gourmet, and Liam Duffy, whose poems have appeared in The Shop, Revival, and Lady Gregory’s Townhouse.
