The White Lantern Carnival Parade, to mark the arrival of Christmas and the winter solstice, takes place in Shop Street on Saturday December 19 at 7pm.
The parade, by Colours Street Theatre Company, will feature a variety of performers carrying a variety of white lanterns. Those interested in participating can GO along on the night dressed in white with their own lantern. The parade starts from the Oscar Wilde Statue outside Brown Thomas, moving down through Shop Street, onto Quay Street, and finishing at the Spanish Arch.
